Days Out

Jessica

Our Jessica has been attending Livali support since they opened.When Jessica first looked around you could see her beaming smile and the look of excitement on her face 😊 She wanted to change her day service and start Livali that day, she couldn’t start that day but she did start the following week 😊

Her smile and that look of excitement hasn’t faltered in all those years. Jessica adores all the staff and has built up a trust and bond with them, they are part of her and our family, our Livali Family are an integral part of our lives.Livali staff are so committed to all their students not only when they attend the day service but also in the community. Livali support also support Jessica in the community, away from her supported living, such support enables Jessica to go horse riding, attend church as well as anything else Jessica would like to do or participate in.

When Jessica is not herself they make me aware, they have always kept in contact through difficult times, the time she was in hospital they rang daily to she how she was and gave me so much support, they visited her at home, their care, compassion, commitment, communication and honesty is always appreciated.

Livali’s day centre offers a wide range of activities, music, yoga, cooking, outside visitors and so much more, such a wide range of activities provides new experiences. They also arrange holidays, day outings, and in house events for the students families too.

Livali support staff are so committed to providing person centred support for all their students which enables all the students engagement, building self confidence, communication, self awareness as well as a sense of self worth and team building. I would highly recommend Livali Support to support your loved one at the day service and in the community.

Emily has been coming to Livali for over 3 years now. After completing her education at a Special School and then Linkage College we wanted to find somewhere that would nurture and maintain her happiness. Well we certainly found that space!

The Livali “family” from the start have been welcoming and inclusive. From fantastic holidays to day trips and learning life skills there is always something to look forward to with Livali. The staff build up unique relationships with each and every client….making them feel valued and listened to.

Emily has a few medical needs and I never doubt that she is safe and protected in Livali’s care. More recently the social media posts are a highlight….it is so fantastic to see so many smiling faces having fun and enjoying being together.
